Oct 31, 2018--WALTER launched the latest product in its HELITRONIC product line: HELITRONIC G 200. Choosing Changzhou as the first location to unveiling this machine, WALTER had its own reason: Xixiashu Town was famous for its tool producing and gathered a large amount of WALTER customers here. The choice showed the consequence of China market in WALTER global market strategy.

The theme of this launch event is “The fusion of German and China, The modernized spirit of Craft Master”. There are two features of the new product launch. One is that it took 36 months to produce this delicate and compact machine – HELITRONIC G 200. The other one is that it was the first time project team from Germany and China working together to develop this brand new machine.

There are around 400 customers on site. At the very beginning, Mr. Juergen Schock, CEO of WALTER Maschinenbau GmbH, made the opening speech. Mr. Schock highly appreciated the development of Chinese manufacturing industry in recent years and the position of Xixiashu Town in Chinese tool manufacturing industry. Then Mr. Yun Huaqi, the old friend of UNITED GRINDING group, chairman of Xixiashu Tool Association, introduced the recent development of Xixiashu tool industry and congratulate the new machine launch of WALTER. After that, WALTER CSO Mr. Christian Dilger and Tool sales general manager of UNITED GRINDING China, Mr. John Chen brought all the VIP on site the first surprise: the launch of UNITED GRINDING special brew beer: B200 and P200.

As the atmosphere of the event was getting better and better, HELITRONIC G 200, the highlight of the evening, was officially unveiled. With the reciprocal of the host, Mr. Juergen Schock, CEO of WALTER, Mr. Christian Dilger of WALTER CSO, Mr. Jo Santens, General Manager of UNITED GRINDING China and Mr. Chen Jiang, General Manager of Tool Sales of UNITED GRINDING China jointly opened the mysterious veil of HELITRONIC G 200. And then R&D team and sales team representatives, taking the stage to introduce the highlights of HELITRONIC G 200 for guests on the site. The biggest feature of the new product HELITRONIC G 200 is to compactly realize high quality and high efficiency of tool grinding. The machine occupies only 2.3 sqm. It has a concise and delicate appearance, good ergonomics design, and offers a brand-new using experience. For maximum flexibility, an optional loading system is available: The “Top loader” is directly integrated into the working envelope of the machine for easy access and therefore requires no additional space.  Suitable for tools from diameter 1 mm to 125 mm, the maximum tool capacity of the loading system is for example 500 tools at a diameter of 3 mm. The Top loader uses standard robot pallets and an automated electrical teaching.

At the end of the event, UNITED GRINDING China's staffs presented a special brewed beer B200 + P200 to all guests.

As Mr. Juergen Schock, CEO of WALTER, mentioned in his speech, he expressed optimism about the future development of the Chinese market. The level of Chinese customers is constantly improving. They are no longer the "world factory" that only provides processing for the world. They are becoming the practitioners and leaders of a new round of intelligent manufacturing. In this upgraded transformation, UNITED GRINDING is willing to continue to provide creative solutions for our customers and move forward together.
