2020 Ringier Innovation Award for Metal Processing Industry was held at the The Longemont Shanghai hotel on August 26th. Studer S31, a brand of United Grinding Group, emerged from 105 innovative technology reports from 95 companies.

The S31 foundation is a machine base made of solid Granitan®S103 and new temperature control technology, directly molding the StuderGuide® guide system for the longitudinal and cross slides into the machine base and finishing it with a wear-resistant Granitan®S200 surfacing material.
