On December 16th, 2022, United Grinding China launched a brand-new universal internal and external cylindrical grinding machine: Studer's new generation KC33 for the local market, so as to further expand its product line.
On the basis of the original KC33, the new generation KC33 released this time focuses on upgrading the performance and the most critical components that customers are most concerned about. The new generation KC33 grinding machine has a distance between centres of 650mm / 1,000mm; It can machine workpieces with a maximum weight up to 80/120 kg. The machine bed is made of classic GranitanS103 artificial granite material of Studer, which has excellent vibration absorption, excellent thermal stability and super structural rigidity, thus effectively improving the grinding quality. Studer's patented guideway is directly formed on the artificial granite bed, which makes it easy to realize micro-feed by X-axis and Z-axis servo drive. The machine can be equipped with a fixed or automatic turret grinding wheel, which can automatically rotate in the range of-15° to+195°and divide by 1°.
500mm×80mm×203.2mm grinding wheel can be installed on the machine. Optional grinding wheel width is 140mm, and it is equipped with high-precision internal and external spindle to realize perfect internal and external grinding. The rotating spindle of workhead can adopt MT4 or ISO50 interface, and the roundness accuracy of workpiece spindle is 0.4um. Tailstock is equipped with taper fine adjustment function with fine adjustment accuracy of 0.0001. FANUC-0i-TF system 10.4 "color display, stable and reliable. At the same time, the equipment can be equipped with on-line measurement of workpiece diameter, axial positioning, grinding wheel dynamic balance, grinding wheel contact and cutting-in electronic sensing functions. The new generation KC33 can realize non-cylindrical grinding and high-precision thread grinding.
StuderGrind external grinding programming software can realize off-machine programming, simulation of machining inspection and reduce the trial grinding time of new parts.
