On July 17th 2019, Ringier Technology Innovation Awards Ceremony for Metal Processing Industry was held in Shanghai. Dozens of leading companies in China's metal processing industry gathered at the scene to witness the 2019 innovation achievements of China's metal processing industry. UNITED GRINDING has won the award for its new tool grinding machine WALTER HELITRONIC G 200, which was launched in October 2018.

In the selection of the Metal Innovation Awards, totally 83 products from 70 companies in the metal processing industry were applied, covering the machine, tools, measurement and software, lubrication, automation and industry 4.0, etc.. Based on weeks of rigorous reviewing, 39 products were selected as the final winners of this year's innovation award, and WALTER HELITRONIC G 200 was among the winners.
WALTER HELITRONIC G 200 is a newly launched grinding machine in China last October. It features a new and creative machine concept on a small footprint, and this is the first time German and Chinese project team worked together to launch the new product in China. Once launched, it has been well received by users and is currently in mass production in China.
