STUDER Internal and External Cylindrical Grinders

Fritz Studer AG, established in 1912, is a market and technology leader in universal, external and internal cylindrical grinding as well as noncircular grinding. With around 25,000 delivered systems, STUDER has been synonymous with precision, quality and durability for decades.

STUDER Conventional Machines

S20

The S20 is a universal cylindrical grinding machine for small workpieces It has a distance between centres of 400mm (15.75") / 650mm (25.6") and a centre height of 100mm (3.94"). It can machine workpieces with a maximum weight of 20kg (44lbs).

S30

The S30 is a cylindrical grinding machine for medium-sized workpieces. It has distances between centres of 650mm (25.6") / 1000mm (40") and centre heights of 125mm (4.9") / 175mm (6.9") / 225mm (8.8"). It can machine workpieces with a maximum weight of 130kg (286lbs).

S11

The S11 is a production cylindrical grinding machine for small workpieces. It has a distance between centres of 200mm (7.9") and a centre height of 125mm (4.9"). It can machine workpieces with a maximum weight of 3kg (6.6lbs).

S36

The S36 was in part designed to respond to increasing demand for e-mobility production solutions. It has a center distance of 650 mm, a center height of 225 mm, and a grinding wheel diameter of 610 mm.

S22

The S22 is a production platform for the mass production of medium-sized workpieces. It has distances between centres of 800 mm (31.5") and centre heights of 175mm (6.9") / 225mm (8.8"). It can machine workpieces with a maximum weight of 150kg (330lbs).

STUDER Internal Universal Machines

S100

The S100 covers the wide range of internal, face and external grinding applications. It has a workpiece length including clamping device of max. 550 mm (21.65") and a workpiece diameter of max. 420 mm (16.53").

S121

The S121 is a universal internal cylindrical grinding machine for medium-sized workpieces in individual and small batch production. The reasonably priced universal machine has a swing diameter of 400mm (15.7").

S131

The S131 is a CNC universal internal cylindrical grinding machine of the latest generation. The swing diameter above the workpiece table is 250 mm (9.8"), and the maximum workpiece length (including clamping device) is 300 mm (11.8").

S141

The S141 is a CNC universal internal cylindrical grinding machine. Three sizes are available for workpiece lengths (including clamping devices) of 300mm (11.8"), 700mm (27.5") and 1300mm (51.2"). The maximum grinding length is 250mm (9.8") for internal and 150mm (5.9") for external diameters.

S151

The S151 is a CNC universal internal cylindrical grinding machine. It is available in two sizes, for workpiece lengths (including clamping device) up to 700mm (27.5") or 1300mm (51.2"). The swing diameter above the workpiece table is 550mm (21.6").

S110

The S110 is a very flexible internal cylindrical grinding machine for machining medium-sized workpieces. The machine has a centre height of 102mm (4") and a grinding length of max. 120mm (4.7").

S122

The S122 is a CNC production internal cylindrical grinding machine for small to medium-sized workpieces in small and large-scale production. The machine has a swing diameter of 220mm (8.6").

STUDER Internal Radius Machines

S121 Radius

The S121 is a radius internal cylindrical grinding machine. It is the ideal machine for internal, face and external grinding of chuck components. The maximum swing diameter is 300mm (11.8") and the maximum workpiece weight is 100kg (220lbs).

S131 Radius

The S131 is a radius internal cylindrical grinding machine that is especially suitable for grinding complex workpieces from very hard materials The maximum swing diameter is 300mm (11.7") and the maximum workpiece weight is 100kg (220lbs).

S141 Radius

The S141 is a radius internal cylindrical grinding machine that is especially suitable for grinding complex workpieces from very hard materials The maximum swing diameter is 400mm (15.7") and the maximum workpiece weight is 100kg (220lbs).
